Meribel's Ski area
Meribel sits in the heart of the most extensively linked ski area in the world. Meribel, Courchevel, La Tania, St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, are all connected by a vast network of over 200 lifts to make up the Three Valleys.
The ski area is inexhaustible and caters for every level of skier. Beginners can cruise down the wide gentle slopes of the Altiport, this tree-lined area is ideal for those experiencing snow for the first time. The range of runs for intermediate skiers is almost limitless, with 104 red and 110 blue runs; the route to take is up to you. For advanced skiers the challenges are equally impressive from numerous black runs to acres of steep off-piste and extreme couloirs.
Altitude is one of the many advantages that this area has over others. The highest peak towers above the valley at 3,300 metres which all but guarantees good skiing throughout the winter. Meribel’s virtually unrivalled investment in snow canons also ensures good cover on the home runs until the last week of the season.
