Your stay with Ski Basics
Now past our 10th year providing the Ski Basics service to happy guests – the majority of whom come back year on year – we’re confident we’ve got the recipe exactly right.
Any company can give you a roof over your head. At Ski Basics we know that a chalet holiday is about much more than that. We do our best to ensure that everything from food to equipment hire to transport runs as smoothly as possible (sorry, the weather is out of our control...!) and that you come away with nothing but wonderful memories of your holiday in Meribel.
Our priority is your comfort: paying real attention to detail so that once you’re in our hands you can relax and concentrate on enjoying your time away. Our chalets are specially chosen for their convenient locations, stylish decor and an unpretentious ‘home from home’ feel. Your chalet host, driver and resort manager will always be on hand to give friendly advice, help with ski hire or lift passes, book a table in a restaurant or make sure you get to where you need to be – on time and with minimal fuss. Anything you need, anyone in a Ski Basics uniform will be happy to help!
When you arrive you will be met by your resort manager who will show you to your chalet or help you to get onto the slopes as soon as possible. No matter how late you arrive, your hosts will be ready to welcome you to the chalet, by which time you will probably be ready for the hearty dinner prepared for you. The host will discuss your stay with you, to ensure that you are aware of anything you may need to know regarding the chalet and the Ski Basics service, as well as giving you the opportunity to arrange meal times, driver pick-ups etc to suit your plans. You can then sit back, relax and enjoy leaving someone else in charge!
This was my first experience of Ski Basics and indeed a catered chalet. I cannot believe what excellent value Ski Basics offers. Everyone works so hard and is desperate to ensure everyone has an amazing holiday. There is no question about whether or not I will return next year.
